GEA completed an extensive ground investigation for this large residential development which comprised a number of drilling techniques to a maximum depth of 25 m, various excavation methods and extensive testing. The site is underlain by glacial deposits comprising the Lowestoft Formation overlying the London Clay Formation.

Following the initial phase, we were also involved with sampling and testing for the design of a proposed attenuation pond and extensive chemical analysis of a large volume of soil for reuse as topsoil and subsoil across the development. The scheme was shortlisted for the Housing Design Awards 2019.
