Geotechnical Engineer, Ware Hertfordshire
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Geotechnical Engineer to join our busy Hertfordshire office.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Applied Geology, or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus, together with 1+ years of relevant industry experience. Applications from graduates with relevant placement experience will also be considered.
The Role
As part of the team, you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery, including:
- Supervising ground investigations on site
- Geotechnical analysis and interpretive reporting
- Foundation design and ground movement assessments
- Liaising directly with clients
- Assisting with the scoping and pricing of new work
GEA delivers a broad range of ground investigations, geotechnical assessments, and contaminated land projects. The role will suit someone who is equally comfortable managing field operations and producing high-quality technical reports in the office.
Training & Development
Successful candidates will benefit from:

Experience in geotechnical assessments and numerical modelling would be advantageous, however full training and support will be provided.
