Managing Director of GEA, Steve has over 20 years experience as a specialist geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineer in the UK and Europe and has worked on a range of prestigious projects, including Broadgate, Paternoster Square, Pimlico Village, Thames Valley Park, Axis Park and Brindley Place.
He has provided specialist advice on numerous geotechnical matters, including slope stability, complex soil-structure interaction problems, clay heave and earthworks control. He also specialises in the legal issues associated with the development of contaminated sites and the use of risk assessment models in contaminated land.
Steve has provided input to Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS) technical committees, is a regular invited contributor to New Civil Engineer and Ground Engineering magazines and regularly acts for the Geological Society as a scrutineer of candidates for Chartered Geologist status.
