Bath Spa Hotel
Site Location:Bath City Centre, Avon
Overview: Redevelopment of the existing hotel tennis courts for the construction of a new gymnasium which is to be contained within a partial basement excavated into the sloping site in order to minimise visual impact of the development. This investigation was designed, carried out and supervised by the GEA Wiltshire office.

Drapers’ Gardens
Site Location:City of London
Overview: Demolition of a landmark 28-storey tower on a three-storey podium, designed by Siefert and completed in 1967. The new structure is to occupy a larger footprint and will comprise five-storey and 15-storey elements. The investigation was designed, carried out and supervised by GEA.

Starlings Bridge
Site Location:Hitchin
Overview: Redevelopment of old town gasworks through the construction of an apartment block with basement car park. The basement excavation required removal of a significant volume of soil, which previous investigations carried out by others had indicated was at least in part significantly contaminated.
